Some of our People

Some of our People

Bryan de Lottinville, President and Chief Executive Officer
Bryan has spent the past fifteen years in senior operational roles with growth companies, in both the bricks and mortar and web worlds. His most recent claim to quasi-fame was as Chief Operating Officer and Director of iStockphoto Inc. (a top 300 Alexa-ranked site). Before he started working with entrepreneurs, he was a corporate finance partner at a major Toronto Law firm (but rarely admits to being a lawyer.) He raises the average age of our team considerably, though has learned to wear jeans almost every day.

Mike Bader, Marketing
Mike has spent the last 16 years immersed in the product development and marketing of web business. Mike was Manager, Interactive Marketing with Canadian Airlines in the early 90's when industry was just starting to adopt internet technologies. Mike served as Marketing Director for Axia Netmedia after that, overseeing the development and marketing of several online learning applications for professionals. Most recently, Mike was a partner in a consulting firm that assisted many firms with their online product strategy. Mike basically has no hair.

Dave Sciuk, VP Business Development
Dave brings a wealth of entrepreneurial skills to the team through key roles with three Canadian technology pioneers. He led Imax’s Business Affairs team in the development of theatre and film projects around the world and later joined Toronto based ExtendMedia, an Internet services agency and a pioneer in the development of interactive television technology and programming. He is also the co-founder of Outdoor Broadcast Network, Canada’s largest outdoor video advertising company. Prior to that, Dave was a lawyer (but also rarely admits it). Dave is a (somewhat) closeted technology geek - sadly he remembers the joy of adding 1MB of RAM to his SE 30 in the early 90’s as a highlight in his life.

Ryan Courtnage, Solution Technologist
Ryan is an experienced (some would say gifted) programmer and entrepreneur who has excelled in both start-ups and large software companies. Ryan was the former CTO/Co-founder of Coalescent Systems Inc. (FreePBX and Gabcast.com), an IT Team Lead at IBM (youzer), and was a Marketing Technologist with Verity Inc. (a leader in enterprise search software). Like most Calgarians, Ryan is from Saskatchewan.

Don Grant, Software Architect
Don is an engineer by education, and during his twenty years of programming, has been a key player in some successful early-stage ventures (e.g. Digital Oilfield, AuDeSi, Net Thruput). He was an early proponent of "crowd-powered enterprise" with Cambrian House (a prominent web startup), and continues to believe in the concept.

Jason Becker, Infrastructure Architect
As former CEO/Co-founder of Coalescent Systems, Jason brings a valuable combination of technical and operational expertise to the team, and is responsible for our technical infrastructure. He was also with IBM and Verity, and appears to be sewn together at the professional hip with Ryan (above).
